WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF ITEMS I CAN ORDER? Minimums are based on the number of colors in your design. For a 1-color, the minimum is 24 pieces. A 2-color is 48 pieces. 3-colors require 72 pieces. A 4-color is a 288 piece minimum. 5 or more colors require a minimum order of 432 pieces. For our pre-printed designs, you may order as few as 12 pieces per design.
CAN I MIX STYLES AND COLORS IN ONE ORDER? YES! As long as the imprint color(s), design and size of design stay the same, you can choose different garment colors and styles. Keep in mind that as a rule, a different size imprint should be used on youth sizes than on adult sizes.
WHY DO YOU HAVE MINIMUMS? Because of the time it takes to set up a press to print a design. We use all state-of-the-art automatic presses to achieve the highest quality printing possible. This equipment requires experienced press operators to ready the press and print the designs. A 1-color design takes far less time to set up than a 6-color design and therefore the minimums are much lower. In most instances, it takes longer to set up a press than it does to actually print the shirts.
HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER? There are several ways to place an order. You may order on-line, by phone, or through a sales rep. Generally, if ordering a custom design, either your logo or using one of our many templates, it is best to order by phone. Often times many questions can be more easily answered if you are speaking directly to one of our sales people. Once we have all of the pertinent information, we will be happy to e-mail you a color layout of your design for your approval. Keep in mind that colors and sizes of proofs may look different on your computer screen than what they will actually be because of differences in computer equipment.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY ORDER? From the time you approve your artwork, you may expect to receive your order within 2 weeks. Depending upon your location, it may take a parcel delivery service anywhere from 1 to 5 days to deliver your order. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control (such as shirt unavailability), delivery could run longer. Pre-printed designs are almost always shipped within 48 hrs.
WHAT DOES CAMERA-READY ARTWORK MEAN? Camera-ready art is basically clean black and white artwork that is the outline only with no areas filled in. Usually business cards are too small. Artwork generated in a computer will usually work but must be in one of several formats. Photoshop and Illustrator are preferred, but for additional file types just give us a call and we will be glad to work with you. Artwork or logos taken from a website are generally unacceptable as they are usually produced at a very low resolution. As a rule, resolution should be at least 300dpi.
DO YOU DO ORDERS FOR TEAMS THAT INCLUDE INDIVIDUAL NAMES AND NUMBERS ON THE SHIRTS? No. We are a wholesale company and not set up to do individual shirts. There are smaller companies that specialize in team wear and are geared for that kind of work. If your team simply needs shirts all printed alike, we certainly can produce them and in all likelihood, save you money over the team-oriented printers.
